Spotted: Rolex Datejust 6305 with original red Datejust OCC dial.
I really love these early pieces. Compared to other brands, the changes Rolex makes throughout the years are very modest. However, with its subtle details, this stunning 6305 gets a look that’s incomparable to a modern counterpart. Awesome.

Rolex Datejust 1601
Must see: Rolex Datejust 1601 ‘Polar’
My friends over at Amsterdam Watch Company dubbed this one ‘Polar’ and one can see why.. Grey and white, with the print blending in so wonderfully with the tone of the dial.. It’s almost gone.. Very clean. I’m in love. Great piece – to bad it’s sold.

In my opinion (skipped the humble..), a 1600 is a great watch. It looks like it could’ve been made today, but with the charm and glow of vintage.. And in gold? Big time killer.

I must say – these Sigma dials are my favorites. Not because of the Sigma.. but look at the shape of the markers. I once had a blue Sigma 1601 with these exact markers.. Such a work of art!
